Overview

Our team seeks a Warehouse Specialist to help us safely navigate products through the warehouse floor using various warehouse equipment (forklift, order picker, reach truck, etc.). In this role, you will support the REI Distribution Center by ensuring that REI’s standards are properly applied and maintained in our Distribution Center.

This position will work the following schedule:

Monday through Thursday 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Responsibilities And Qualifications

• Safely handle product and Distribution Center equipment.
• Work well in a team-based environment.
• Be flexible and able to navigate different departments based on business needs.
• Communicate directions and feedback effectively with others.
• Pay attention to detail in all tasks and assignments.
• Work efficiently and safely by setting practical goals, establishing priorities, and meeting standards.

Your qualities:

• At least 1 year of experience using various warehouse equipment (forklift, order picker).
• Experience with RF handheld equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights of 30+ ft.
• Proven safety record in operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and shift boxes weighing 20 to 30 pounds on average, up to 65 pounds.
• Able to work standing or walking for 8-12-hour shifts.
