Equipment operator experience preferred but not required

• Full-time warehouse partners
• Paid training
• 2nd shift 3:45 PM - 2:15 AM, Monday - Thursday, with overtime as needed

Job responsibilities:

• Facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise for shipment to Petco stores by receiving, moving, and stocking warehouse goods.
• This role involves routine tasks repeated throughout the day and is a safety-sensitive position requiring drug testing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate forklift equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks.
• Repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Use hand-held computer to scan merchandise bar codes.
• Operate computerized pick-module as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility: Typically does not involve supervising others, but management may delegate additional responsibilities, including providing guidance to others.

Work Environment: Involves extensive bending, carrying, lifting (over 50 pounds routinely), and climbing. The position exposes workers to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise within the warehouse. Some duties may be performed outdoors, but most work occurs indoors. Safety precautions are essential due to potential injury risks.
