Job description

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage.
• Support digital business operations: fulfill orders, assist with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service: greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain awareness of advertisements, promotions and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies, procedures and traffic and safety laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting (preferred).
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Walk, bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• Be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday (if delivery is part of the job).
