Job summary

Action Gypsum Supply is seeking a Stocker Scrapper to join The Willows Apartments prevailing wage project. The role includes loading, unloading, and stocking building materials and requires workers to be Section 3 or targeted Section 3 eligible.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, daily site analyses for safe handling, and coordinating with the stocking supervisor. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Section 3 or targeted Section 3 worker.
• Experience handling building materials preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock building materials at job sites using company provided equipment.
• Perform daily job site analysis to ensure safe handling and placing of building materials at job sites.
• Coordinate all wallboard counts and job site pictures. Send pictures of completed stocks to stocking superintendent.
• Stock material following ticket instructions and stocking supervisor/crew leader directions.
• Maintain constant communication with stocking supervisor and stocking crew to avoid stocking errors.
• Coordinate all shoring pick and delivery.
• Update and maintain shoring logs.
• Turn in completed paperwork daily.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and stocking crew to improve overall service.
