Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Stocker to maintain continuous supplies of open-case products for warehouse selectors. You will operate power equipment and assist Supervisors, contributing to a safe, efficient operation in a team-focused environment.

The role entails early 5 am shifts, Monday–Friday, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and productivity. Company benefits start after a short tenure, and there are opportunities for advancement within a long-standing distribution leader.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Use reports and computer programs to choose product.
• Prepare boxes and place in slots for selection, replenish as needed.
• Check quantities against stocking reports.
• Record product moves to ensure correct counts and locations.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Stocker maintains continuous supplies of open-case product to be pulled by Warehouse Selectors. They operate power equipment and assist Supervisors as directed.

• Pay rate: $19.50 per hour.
• Monday-Friday with 5 am start time. Shifts will last 8 to 10 hours.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Stocker

• Use various reports and computer programs to choose product.
• Prepare boxes and place in slots for selection, proactively keeping slots replenished.
• Check quantities against stocking reports.
• Record product moves to ensure correct product and accurate counts; identify and remedy insufficient and/or mis-slotted products.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
