Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to maintain fresh, well‑displayed products, assist customers, and ensure efficient store operations within our Fresh departments. The role emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and adherence to safety standards.

Candidates should be comfortable with technology, able to lift and stand for extended periods, and possess a customer‑friendly attitude. Retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
