Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Stock Room Clerk to maintain accurate parts inventory and issue materials to production areas. You will perform counts, track floor stock, and ensure compliance with FAA/DAS requirements while keeping the stockroom orderly.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and 2 years of material control experience. You must read blueprints/IPC data, learn our ERP system, and communicate effectively; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for typical office software.
• 2 years' experience in Material Control (Stores Clerk, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving).
• Must read and comprehend blueprints, IPCs, and Engineering Orders.
• Able to learn the Company's operating system to perform daily transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Overtime and/or flexible schedule as required.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain shelving to ensure accurate parts accountability and issuance.
• Issue and deliver parts to production areas promptly.
• Perform inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Review daily floor stock locations for replenishment needs.
• Set up quarantine areas to comply with FAA/DAS requirements.
• Keep stockroom clean, safe, and orderly.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Description:

Title: Stock Room Clerk

Location: Greensboro, NC

Duration: Contract to hire

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Description:

Perform duties related to storing, inventory control and parts issuance. Provide information on revolving inventory levels as requested. Fill material requisitions promptly and accurately. Report discrepancies and material shortages.

What you will be responsible for:

• Set up and maintain shelving as required to ensure accurate and functional parts accountability and issuance
• Issue and deliver parts to production areas in a timely manner while observing lean concepts
• Perform Inventory counts as needed to ensure accurate inventory levels
• Review daily floor stock locations to determine replenishment requirements
• Set up quarantines areas as needed to comply with FAA/ DAS requirements
• Ensures that the stockroom is kept clean, safe , and orderly
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

What you will need to be successful in this role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for use in typical office software applications.
• 2 years' experience in Material Control, i.e.: Stores Clerk, Customer Material, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving, or related field.
• Must have ability to read and comprehend blueprints, IPC's, Engineering Orders and other technical data.
• Be able to learn the Company"s operating system to perform daily transactions.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be available for overtime and/or work flexible schedule as job requirements dictate.
• Must and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language

• Ability to reach above shoulder level and below knee level to access materials stored on shelves and racks
• Ability to push, pull and maneuver material carts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Ability to safely handle and transport parts of varying sizes, weights and shapes
• Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures typical of warehouse, hangar, or manufacturing environments
• Ability to use handheld scanners, computers, and inventory management systems for extended periods
