Job summary

Kirkland's in Novi, MI seeks a Stock Team Member to assist with freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment. This role requires a high level of organization and urgency in handling stock and customer-facing tasks.

No experience is required; stock experience is preferred. You will help receive merchandise, stock the floor, execute markdowns, and uphold brand standards while maintaining an organized stockroom. Weekend/evening flexibility is helpful.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary, stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more; climb ladders.
• Ability to stock and retrieve merchandise from stockroom and sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the receipt of merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain an efficient, organized stockroom.
• Assist in stock replenishment and price changes on the floor.
• Support driving profitable sales and protect company assets.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• Treat customers professionally and follow dress code to support branding.
• Demonstrate commitment to company values and initiatives.
• Take initiative to ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner.
