Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Stockhandler/Material Handler in Mount Pleasant, IA to support production by verifying, organizing, and staging materials per work orders. You will handle material movement, assist in inventory control, and help maintain safe, efficient operations on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a warehouse, stock handling, manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Familiarity with Printstream software is a plus.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare materials according to work orders and production needs.
• Retrieve, organize, and stage materials to support stockroom operations.
• Sort and stage finished products for distribution or delivery.
• Operate pallet jacks, electric jacks, or forklifts when needed.
• Inspect materials for damage, safety concerns, or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stock area.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow.
• Assist in troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and production flow.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
