Job summary

Tumi Holdings Inc in New York seeks a Stock Manager to support a client experience reflecting our brand ethos through meticulous stockroom organization and inventory control, driving sales via outstanding service.

The ideal candidate will uphold stock integrity, manage shipments, and collaborate with store teams to maintain KPIs while growing the brand in a luxury travel fashion environment, with opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Performance to Goals: Support team in meeting and exceeding individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Leadership and Initiative: Display initiative, plan and prioritize, think strategically, champion change, take pride in work and meet deadlines.
• Operations/Problem Solving and Compliance: Process shipments and transfers, verify quantities, maintain stockroom organization, monitor inventory levels, participate in audits, report discrepancies, and ensure policies.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Exercise strong written and verbal skills, adapt communication, conduct oneself ethically, promote goals, stay calm, and collaborate with team.
• Visual Merchandising/Client Experience: Follow visual guidelines, participate in floor moves, and ensure a superior client experience.

• Retail Store Associates may be eligible to participate in the quarterly sales bonus program. Store bonus payout eligibility is determined by performance to the quarterly sales plan which may be prorated depending on various factors.

Your role at Tumi:

As part of our Retail team, the Stock Manager is responsible for supporting a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of our brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service, stockroom organization and inventory controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance to Goals:

• Support team in meeting and exceeding individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.

Operations/Problem Solving and Compliance:

• Timely process all incoming shipments, transfers, RTV’s and repairs.
• Verify that delivery quantities received match packing slips and ensure discrepancies are reported on a daily/weekly basis.
• Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency. Replenish the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor daily.
• Participate in formal bi-annual or annual inventory audits.
• Maintain an up-to‑date list of all offsite inventory, if applicable. Review product reporting weekly/monthly. Partner with manager weekly on inventory and supply needs.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Manage personal timecards to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Maintain Tumi University Training.
