Job summary

Parts Authority in Roseburg, Oregon is hiring a Stock Manager to oversee inventory, warehousing accuracy, and customer service excellence. You will work with purchasing to stock orders, ensure dock-to-stock efficiency, and support delivery operations to meet customer commitments.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in stock management, experience with WMS/RF tech and forklift, plus a solid grounding in logistics and safety compliance. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-4 years experience as a stock manager.
• Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution required.
• Experience with WMS/inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technology.
• Must possess ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as needed.
• Must be a self-starter and proactive in addressing production delays.
• Experience in tracking metrics, including KPIs such as inbound/outbound productivity.
• Knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferred.
• Clean/valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer service.
• Not a supervisory role.
• Ensure customer service goals are met.
• Formulate and enforce picking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.
• Ensure dock to stock for most lines within 72 hours.
• Work with purchasing to unload orders from vendors and stock them on shelves.
• Ensure trucks/trailers are loaded/unloaded efficiently to support movement of goods.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to improve delivery service.
• Maintain an accurate inventory count.
• Assist parts pullers to locate parts.
• Handle damaged deliveries and report issues.
• Coordinate with store manager and purchasing on inventory updates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Oversee operations: keep a clean, safe warehouse; comply with DOT/OSHA; administer 5S; manage carrier relationships.
