Job summary

Modern Toyota of Winston-Salem is seeking an Automotive Parts Stock Clerk to join our parts team. You will check in stock orders, pull technician orders, receive shipments, and manage daily deliveries.

The role requires strong organizational and customer service skills, ability to work as part of a team, and occasional lifting up to 70 lbs. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with automotive parts preferred.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task during peak demands
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Check in stock orders and put parts in the correct BINS locations.
• Pull technician orders and dispatch them to the shop.
• Receive, reconcile, and locate shipments from outside vendors.
• Obtain parts from local vendors as needed via Company vehicle.
• Help with inventory management of current and new parts.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Parts Department
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
• Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry
• Unloads truck each night, returning all paperwork and undelivered parts.
