Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and validate inbound shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with SAIC policies and federal contract requirements.
• Log received items into inventory management systems and update records in accordance with supply chain management procedures.
• Tag and label equipment and materials in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements; collaborate with purchasing, warehousing, and project teams to ensure timely distribution of materials to internal departments or end users.
• Perform routine tasks, including packaging, moving, and shelving of inventory, while adhering to safety protocols and organizational standards.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other materials handling equipment to move inventory as needed (if properly trained and certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment within the receiving and storage areas; follow established quality assurance and control measures, including compliance with government regulations and SAIC's operational procedures.

• The ideal candidate will work closely with our logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely receipt, inspection, and organization of materials and supplies critical to our operations.
