Amphenol CIT in Tennessee is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy for the site. The role involves performing stockroom tasks, data input, and ensuring timely processing of orders and materials.
You will work under ISO and regulatory guidelines, coordinate with carriers, prepare shipping documents, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
This position is responsible for proper picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, and handling of materials and maintaining inventory accuracy and internal and/or external customer service for a given location within ACIT. Performs a variety of warehousing or stockroom functions including receiving, production order picking, warehouse storage, packaging of finished goods, shipping, inventory control, supply documentation, data input, and material distribution and/or delivery as assigned to location requirements.
The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One (1) year of work experience, prefer shipping, receiving warehouse, stockroom or inventory control environment. Experience within an ISO controlled and/or government regulated environment desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational in any other language is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint. Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. The ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of business problems. Basic mathematical skills. Excellent materials management skills as applicable include customer order fulfillment activities & shipping, packaging, receiving, inventory control and disposition, supply documentation, data and transactional management, material distribution and/or delivery, warehouse or stockroom control techniques, and critical thinking and problem-solving capability. A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image. Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment.

While performing job duties, the employee will regularly engage in activities such as using hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicating verbally. Additionally, the employee will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role. Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and using a ladder may be required. This position also demands specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This is a work environment where employees typically work inside a facility and perform various tasks related to storing, processing, and shipping goods and materials. Some of the everyday activities that a warehouse worker does are preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, receiving and processing warehouse stock products, performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits, keeping a clean and safe working environment, and optimizing space utilization and operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment.
