Job summary

Atrium Centers Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Transport Driver/CNA (STNA) to serve residents in the Ohio facility. The role combines CNA duties with transportation responsibilities, requiring a 25+ age, a valid STNA license, and a clean driving record.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and compassionate care. Candidates with ART certification and long-term care records experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed STNA course and active state license.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Records experience in long-term care (preferred).
• ART certification (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with willingness to learn.
• Positive, can-do attitude and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and/or provide transportation for residents to and from appointments.
• Assist residents safely during transport and appointments.
• Drive center van (minivan-sized).
• Transport a maximum of two patients at a time.
• Split duties 50/50 between floor CNA responsibilities and transport driving.
• Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan.
• Assist with daily activities, personal care, and resident safety.
• Maintain and respond to resident medical record requests.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation, including vitals.
• Report any violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately.
