Job summary

Swanton Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking State Tested Nurse Aides (STNAs) to join our compassionate care team. You will provide daily routine nursing care to residents under supervision, assist with ADLs, mobility, and hydration, and monitor changes in residents’ conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid STNA license and be able to work with residents and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routine nursing care to assigned residents under the direction of the Charge Nurse (RN/LPN).
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support residents with mobility, transferring, and repositioning to ensure comfort and prevent pressure ulcers.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team.
• Assist with feeding and hydration as needed, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing bed linens and organizing rooms.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting well-being.
