Job summary
LionStone Care is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for Colerain Care Center in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time role helps residents with daily living activities, mobility, and essential comfort under a licensed nurse's supervision.
You will document care in the facility's EHR, monitor vital signs, assist with meals, and support a safe, respectful environment that promotes dignity and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification is required.
- Experience: Healthcare/long-term care experience preferred but not required; new grads welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
- Help residents with mobility and transfers using assistive devices.
- Feed residents and monitor nutrition and hydration.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
- Document care in EHR or paper charts and maintain accurate records.
- Support resident safety and infection control in daily routines.
- Provide emotional support and promote resident dignity and independence.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
