Job summary

Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Ohio is seeking experienced full-time State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) to join our Nightshift team. You will provide high-quality resident care in a supportive, professional environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining resident rights with dignity, proper documentation, and using lift equipment as required. Certification as STNA is mandatory and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Assist in daily care of residents, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.
• Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident's personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.
• Perform other duties as assigned
