Job summary

Centerville Post Acute is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care in Centerville, Ohio. The role supports residents’ comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being under licensed nursing staff guidance.

The position requires Ohio STNA certification and offers a sign-on bonus. Shift options include days, nights, full-time, part-time, or PRN, with a team‑oriented environment and emphasis on patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Ohio STNA certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work well in a team.
• Capable of providing compassionate care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition.
• Safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate residents per care plans.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Record vital signs and other measurements accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe resident environment and infection-control practices.
• Participate in resident activities and promote social interaction.
• Document duties accurately and timely.
