Job summary

LionStone Care in Shaker Heights, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for a full-time role on the second shift. You will provide essential resident care, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and document care in the facility's health records.

Collaboration with nursing staff and other professionals is key to high-quality care. Qualifying education includes a high school diploma and an active STNA certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and active STNA certification required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility and transfers using assistive devices as needed.
• Assist with feeding and monitor nutrition and hydration.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document care in EHR or paper charts and maintain records.
