Job summary

Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Troy, Ohio is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents' condition, record vital signs, and work with a supportive team to ensure safe, dignified overnight care.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in good standing.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents throughout the night.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding as needed.
• Safely transfer, reposition, and assist residents with mobility.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Record vital signs and document care provided.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Provide reassurance and promote restful, dignified care during overnight hours.
