Job summary

Cherish Hospice Corp. is seeking an on-the-road STNA Hospice Aide to support patients in their homes and care settings across the service area. You will provide essential personal care, monitor comfort, and document patient responses under an RN's supervision.

Travel up to 50% is required, with a valid STNA license and driver's license. Hospice experience and geriatrics background are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• STNA license required and CPR preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for travel to patient locations.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Geriatrics experience preferred.
• Hospice and Palliative Medicine knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to hospice patients to enhance comfort.
• Follow plan of care under RN supervision and ensure safety.
• Observe and report patient status, document care performed.
• Document care and patient response per policies and standards.
• Ensure timely documentation and comply with regulations.

Cherish Hospiceis seeking an on the roadSTNA Hospice Aide’s. As a hospice aide you can help enhance the quality of life for the patient by providing personal care and related assigned services to hospice patients directly.

STNA Hospice Aide Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care according to the patient’s needs. Carry out the duties assigned to increase the patient’s level of comfort, and to maintain personal hygiene and a safe environment for the patient.




• Care provided is in accordance with an established plan of care and under the supervision of a RN




• Observe the patient, report observations and document observations and care performed.




• Document the care provided and the patient’s response to care in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.




• Provide timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.




• Adhere to Company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance requirements and directives.

STNA Hospice Aide Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time) to service patients in their residence of care, which includes home, assisted living facilities, long term care facility, and hospital.
