Job summary

Trevida Healthcare in Ohio is seeking a compassionate STNA to make a difference in residents’ lives. As an STNA, you will help with daily living activities and support a caring, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You will take vital signs, assist with bathing, grooming, eating, and mobility, observe skin changes, and report to a licensed nurse. A STNA license or eligibility to sit for the STNA exam is required, with high school/GED and long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State Tested nursing assistant (STNA) license or eligible to sit for STNA exam.
• High school graduate/GED.
• Long-term care experience and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes and records vital signs.
• Measures and records height and weight, intake and output.
• Cares for the resident’s environment.
• Assists with bathing, grooming, toileting.
• Assists with eating and hydration.
• Observes resident’s skin and reports changes to licensed nurse; provides skin care as needed.
