Job summary

McCracken Lone Oak Intermediate School in Paducah, Kentucky seeks a LOI STLP Director to sponsor in-school extracurricular programs and plan activities. You will organize practices, mentor students, verify eligibility and safety compliance, and maintain professional standards.

Immediate starting date with a focus on community engagement and program growth. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or 64 college hours) and current first aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 64 college credit hours from an accredited college.
• Criminal records check required; current certification in first aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Promote extra-curricular programs in the schools and community.
• Plan the assigned extra-curricular program.
• Organize and supervise practices and meetings.
• Teach individual fundamental skills of the extra-curricular activity.
• Check eligibility of participants, including insurance coverage and parent consent.
• Provide students a proper role model, emotional support, patience, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
• Recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies as appropriate for the health, safety, and welfare of participants.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Adhere to the Professional Code of Ethics
• Follow all McCracken County Public Schools Policies and Procedures.
