General Duties: Educators will collaborate in a professional development setting to engage in unpacking the Yearlong (YL) scope and sequence, analyzing lesson standards, identifying key understandings, and opportunities to develop cross-linguistic awareness for the Children Discovering Justice Curriculum (CDJ). Additionally, they will focus on lesson-level planning, emphasizing the selection of appropriate teaching practices that incorporate high-order thinking tasks and targeted support for dual-language classrooms. This approach ensures alignment with curriculum goals while fostering rigorous and inclusive learning experiences for all students.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be an educator with experience teaching the Children Discovering Justice (CDJ) curriculum, fluency in Spanish, and a strong repertoire of dual-language instructional strategies. The candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of how to leverage students’ home languages and cross-linguistic connections to support meaningful and rigorous learning. We are looking for an educator in grades 1-4.
Duties:
Compensation: There will be 25 hours allocated to this work per educator Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day (up to 8 hours total).
