Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a segment of Element Solutions Inc, is seeking a Manufacturing Production Worker for our Altoona, PA facility. You will contribute to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, eager to learn, and able to perform hands-on work with reliability and teamwork. This role supports production movement and quality standards, with opportunities for skill growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing and able to work any shift (days, afternoons, overnights).
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Stand, walk, bend and twist for 8 hours.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform a variety of production tasks, operating equipment and handling materials.
• Run equipment safely following work instructions and procedures.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe with 5S practices.
• Follow safety rules to maintain a safe workplace.
• Monitor equipment and processes, report issues or defects to supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to meet production, quality and efficiency goals.
• Be willing to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities.

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe through daily housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures to help maintain a safe workplace for yourself and your teammates.
• Monitor equipment and production processes, reporting any issues, defects, or safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Be willing to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities as business needs change.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll be actively involved in keeping production moving, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a safe and productive work environment.

Who are You?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing and able to work any shift, including days, afternoons, and overnight schedules.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Able to operate a forklift or willing to become forklift certified.
• Dependable, safety‑focused, and ready to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

  • Shift Differential ($0.70 - 2nd shift & $0.80 - 3rd shift)
