Job summary

Ace Hardware seeks a skilled hardware associate to diagnose and repair STIHL handheld equipment and push mowers. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble components, and sharpen blades and saw chains as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe workspace and flag unsafe tools to the Store Manager. Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to every customer, every time, contributing to a positive shopping experience in-store.

• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.

Applicant must have current small engine experience. STIHL Certifications are preferred.

Applicant must not have a criminal record consisting of felonies.

Physical Requirements

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties.
• Move and handle merchandise up to 40 pounds, and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth. Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business.
