Job summary

MGM Grand Detroit is seeking a part-time Stewarding Utility to support kitchen and dining areas by handling dinnerware, flatware, and glassware and ensuring a clean, sanitary work environment.

You will assist with loading/unloading dishwashers, sweeping and mopping, and daily equipment cleaning, while maintaining stocked stations and clean dining areas. Benefits include free meals, employee parking, and fitness center access.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware and load onto dishwasher conveyor belt.
• Unload washed items and stack by size for future use.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floor and cleaning areas; clean walls and trash areas.
• Dismantle and clean equipment daily as required; clean ventilation units as needed.
• Maintain stocked stations with china, silver, glasses, and condiments; keep dining room tidy.
