Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team. Lead the stewarding staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and support kitchen operations behind the scenes with meticulous organization.

The role requires prior supervisory experience, teamwork, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Full-time position with training and development opportunities in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum one year related work experience.
• Must be able to work as part of team.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities.
• This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lb.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Organize work assignments and train the stewarding team.
• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver; manage dishwashing duties.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and production areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas and equipment.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals and maintain cafeteria cleanliness.

The Stewarding Supervisor plays a vital role within our Food & Beverage team, ensuring exceptional quality and service for our guests. Our Stewarding team works diligently behind the scenes—making sure every piece of silverware shines, every plate sparkles, and every outlet has the proper supply of clean dishes and equipment. This role also helpsmaintainthe cleanliness, organization, and safety of the kitchen and heart‑of‑house areas.

What You Will Do

ResponsibilitiesInclude(but are not limited to):

• Organizework assignments, make recommendationsregardingtraining, performance evaluations, and discipline forstewardingteam.
• Clean and sanitizechina, glass, and silver using the dishwashingmachine;load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly
• Clean and sanitize all ovens, steam kettles, mixers, and other kitchen equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls; clean, dust, seep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen production areas and hallways
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions
• Maintain cleanliness of back of the house Food & Beverage areas, including silverware, cutlery, glassware, etc.
• Safelyutilizeand store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solutionutilizingthe correct protective clothing
• Ensure the employee cafeteria is wellmaintained, clean, and sanitized

Schedule & Hours

Full-time position. Shift lengths range from 8-10 hours; scheduled days and hours may vary. Weekends and major holidays arerequired.
