Job summary

Faena is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee all processes within the Stewarding Department and coordinate sanitation across hotel facilities and equipment. You will act in the absence of the Management team and guide the team to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals, managing daily administrative duties, and leading room service and banquet support aligned with Faena Standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and standards.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas.
• Use correct cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations.
• Lead cleanliness activities in line with Faena Standards.
• Manage daily administrative duties of Stewarding Department.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of sanitation inspections.
• Set up workstations with staff, supplies and equipment.
• Report inventory shortages to Management and replenish as needed.
• Check dishwashing machine condition and rectify deficiencies.
• Maintain back-of-house areas including kitchens and walk-ins.
• Transport and stock cleaned wares, utensils and equipment.
• Clean and organize storage closets; remove trash and ensure proper placement of items.
• Follow health, sanitation and safety regulations and ensure shift readiness.
