Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in Texas is seeking an Assist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets to organize and maintain food and beverage outlets. You will sort, wash, and prep ware, ensuring efficient service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.
• Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds with/without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with/without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200lbs with/without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as supervisors, coworkers, public, etc.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish/pot machine.
• Wash ware and replace in storage areas.
• Maintain physical stamina for high activity.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Operate burnishing machine for silverware finish.
• De-tarnish and polish silver.
• Clean kettles and pots promptly so cooks can work.
• Attend regularly and be available to work.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
