Job Summary

Keep it clean, keep it safe! We’re looking for a reliable team player to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas, handle cleaning tools with care, and ensure everything meets safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, glassware, and utensils according to industry standards within specified timelines in a safe and controlled manner.
• Use cleaning compounds and perform sanitation tasks as assigned in culinary areas.
• Maintain knowledge of cleaning equipment and alert supervisor or Chef on duty of any equipment failures or needed maintenance immediately.
• Work in various environments including deep freezers and around steam‑cleaning equipment.
• Use water, steam, and heat to keep food‑contact surfaces safe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Physically able to repeatedly lift, bend, reach, stoop, climb, and carry items for extended amounts of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Continuously lift and move items up to 40 pounds.
• Endure heat and moist conditions with reasonable accommodation.
• Work long periods on feet at a fast pace to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and special events; hours will vary between day and evening shifts.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
