Loews Coronado Bay Resort is hiring a dependable Steward to maintain pristine kitchen and back-of-house areas and support culinary teams across busy service periods. You will ensure dishes, glassware, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service while following safety guidelines and hotel policies.

The role requires physical stamina, focus on quality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Clear communication and teamwork to support kitchen and back-of-house operations.
• Proactive, efficient work style under fast-paced conditions.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform cleaning duties for long shifts.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware to high hygiene standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual cleaning as needed.
• Organize and store cleaned items for easy access and smooth operations.
• Keep kitchen floors, walls, counters, and equipment spotless and safe.
• Support culinary and banquet teams by organizing equipment for service.
• Deliver clean plates, utensils, and essentials to service areas promptly.
• Dispose of trash and waste per hotel standards and maintain disposal areas.
• Report broken equipment to supervisor and follow safety procedures.
• Attend mandatory trainings and ensure regular attendance.
