Position Details

Position Title: Steward, Huntington Convention Center, Levy

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.50

Job Summary: Perform duties to maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and garbage, and clean trash cans.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and food prep equipment.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas safely.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as needed.
• Help load, unload, and deliver supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Follow sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
