Job summary

Renaissance Fort Lauderdale West Hotel is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to perform dishwashing and kitchen cleaning functions. The role offers diverse growth paths toward Executive Steward or Sous Chef with responsibilities across cleaning, stocking, and basic food prep during peak periods.

The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and MSDS/OSHA standards. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
Operate dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous stewarding experience required or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas.
Stock supplies in serving stations and storage areas.
Sweep and wash floors and manage waste disposal.
Assist with basic food preparation during peak periods.
Support guest satisfaction goals by maintaining hygiene standards.
Follow safety procedures and MSDS/OSHA guidelines.
