Join the newest Waldorf Astoria hotel at the heart of D.C. as a Steward in our Food and Beverage team! This iconic property features 263 rooms, 38,000 sq ft of event space, 2 restaurants, and 3 bars, hosting Washington D.C.'s premier events and experiences.

• Shift: Various, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $29.00/hour
• Union Position: Part of Local 25 Union requiring full open availability. Schedule and hours depend on seniority and business needs; flexibility is essential.

As a Steward, your responsibilities include transporting, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen utensils and serviceware, contributing to outstanding guest service and profitability. Your tasks will include:

• Washing dishes and operating the dishwasher
• Scrubbing pots and pans
• Polishing silverware and utensils
• Stocking supplies and equipment
• Cleaning duties such as mopping and trash removal
• Transporting and storing clean serviceware
• Training other stewards as needed
• Preparing serviceware for events
