Overview

Forge your legacy by joining the newest Waldorf Astoria hotel in Washington, D.C., as a Steward in the Food and Beverage team. This iconic hotel features 263 rooms, 38,000 sq ft of event space, 2 restaurants, and 3 bars, hosting major events and unforgettable experiences.

Position Details

• Shift: Various, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour
• Union Position: This role is part of Local 25 Union, requiring full open availability. Schedule and hours vary based on seniority and business needs, with no guaranteed full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean chinaware, silverware, and utensils.
• Scrub pots and pans.
• Burnish, de-tarnish, and polish silverware.
• Stock and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties such as mopping and trash removal.
• Transport and store clean serviceware.
• Train other stewards as needed.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for events.
