Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and maintain all cooking equipment, cutlery, china, and glassware; keep workstations stocked for service.
• Collect and store produce, proteins, and other ingredients properly.
• Keep kitchen floors, walk-in fridge, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Management on equipment cleaning and cleaning schedules.
• Work positively with the kitchen team to keep operations smooth and the workplace enjoyable.

Established in Los Angeles in 2012, this family-friendly neighborhood spot near Pike Place Market is known for crave-worthy dishes like Smoked Corned Beef Hash, griddled sandwiches, and Pie à la Mode, alongside seasonal and classic cocktails.

POSITION PROFILE

The Steward/Dishwasher keeps our kitchen at The Hart and The Hunter clean and running smoothly, from guest dishware to cooking equipment and prep stations. You'll be an upbeat, team-focused presence that keeps the whole kitchen operating at its best.

THE TASK AT HAND

• Wash, sanitize, and maintain all cooking equipment, cutlery, china, and glassware, keeping workstations properly stocked for service.
• Collect and store produce, proteins, and other ingredients in their proper place.
• Keep kitchen floors, the walk-in fridge, and all food storage areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Management on equipment cleaning, maintenance, and the kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Work positively and professionally with the kitchen team to keep operations smooth and the workplace enjoyable for all.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• A clear understanding of the role and how it fits into a smooth-running kitchen.
• A team player who works well with others, even under pressure.

Physical

• Ability to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift, including bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, able to work a variety of shifts.
