Job Description

The position is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and chinaware are properly washed and sanitized. They also ensure that all dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and chinaware are stored in designated areas for use by various departments throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Execute company and hotel policies and procedures related to the Stewarding Department, ensuring services meet established standards within budgetary controls.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation throughout the Stewarding areas.
• Responsible for storage and requisitioning of all materials and equipment.
• Report breakages, cleaning supply consumption, etc., to the Executive Steward.
• Maintain all equipment to a high standard, including dishwashers and burnishers.
