Job Description

Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team? As a Steward/Dishwasher, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizationof all surfaces
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
• Responsible for garbage, compost and recycling stations and disposing of these items accordingly
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including the dishwashing machines and sinks
• Wash dishware, glassware, cutlery, cooking equipment/vessels, etc.
• Ensure proper storage of all dishware and cutlery when not in use
• Maintain proper storage and use of associated chemicals
• Assist with setup of function requests such as plate orders, etc.
• Follow all policies, procedures and service standards, including health & safety procedures

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous hotel and/or restaurant work experience an asset
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time, as well as safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment
• Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with excellent organizational skills
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
