Position Overview

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment in accordance with local authority and hotel guidelines.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment and provide training to unskilled workers.
2. Handle all cleaning, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance in the dish room.
3. Inventory chinaware, glasses, and silverware, maintaining proper par levels.
4. Organize and keep the dish room efficient.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods, lifting over 25 lbs, repetitive hand use, and exposure to various environmental conditions.
