Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking motivated kitchen staff in a fast-paced casino environment. You’ll work with a diverse team to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and efficient kitchen operations, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include food prep support, dishwashing, stocking stations, and following ServSafe guidelines. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work effectively with others in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or related experience is acceptable.
• Able to communicate with customers and fellow employees.
• Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations as required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of kitchens, cooking preparation areas, equipment, and utensils per OSHA and ServSafe standards.
• Removes garbage and trash; ensures proper disposal in designated areas.
• Operates dishwashing and other mechanical cleaning devices as needed.
• Adheres to cleanliness and sanitation standards; maintains sanitary kitchen areas.
• Keeps serving stations stocked with utensils and supplies.
• Maintains safe working conditions in kitchen and eating areas.
• Dresses in appropriate uniform; presents well to guests.
• Provides a warm welcome and friendly farewell to guests; supports positive guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work areas (kitchens, cooking preparation, etc.), equipment (cook stoves, grills, stove hoods, deep fryers, etc.), and utensils in a clean and sanitary manner and in accordance with OSHA and ServSafe standards.
• Removes garbage and trash, and places refuse in designated pick up area.
• Operates mechanical devices designed to assist such as scrubbers and dishwasher.
• Adheres to proper cleanliness and sanitation standards as set forth by ServSafe.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all kitchen areas and food storage areas by steam cleaning mats and other walking surfaces, washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Stocks serving stations with utensils
• Maintains safe working conditions and practices in the kitchen and eating area.
• Must be presentable when reporting to work, wearing appropriate uniform. Good personal hygiene required
• Initiates a positive guest experience when working any guest contact position by providing a welcome and/or greeting, making eye contact, smiling, and bidding a warm farewell and good luck, etc.Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
