El Capitan Canyon Resort is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join its kitchen team in a beautiful, natural setting near Santa Barbara, CA. You will help maintain cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen, supporting a luxury glamping resort experience for guests.

This role requires no formal education and offers on-the-job training. You will work in a peaceful, rustic environment, with opportunities to contribute to a high-quality guest experience and the resort’s seasonal operations.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (AM/PM).

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Support the kitchen team during peak times to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or manager.
