Penmac Staffing is seeking a dependable Steward for our resort kitchen in Ridgedale, MO. The role involves washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and supporting a fast-paced culinary team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Shifts include day, evening, weekends, and holidays with flexible scheduling. Competitive pay starting at $16.50 per hour based on experience, plus employee meals or dining discounts. Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment with commercial equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, stations, storage and dining areas.
• Remove trash/recycling and maintain waste disposal areas.
• Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies as needed.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and supplies.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Support kitchen staff with cleaning and prep tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift.

Job Description

Steward – Resort Kitchen

Location: Ridgedale, MO
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $16.50 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Steward to join our resort culinary team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This role is responsible for washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, sanitizing work areas, and supporting the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors, workstations, storage areas, and dining service areas
• Remove trash and recycling and keep waste disposal areas clean
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies as needed
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and kitchen supplies
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a steward, dishwasher, or kitchen utility position preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
