Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Assist Stewarding Supervisor to support the cleaning and organization of Food and Beverage Outlets at Hotel Per La in downtown Los Angeles. You will help manage dishware, operate dish equipment, and assist cooks with keeping kettles and pans clean.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to handle heavy items, and effective communication with team members. This is an on-site opportunity within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with or without accommodation.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing Food and Beverage Outlets.
• Sort soiled ware promptly so it can be washed through dish or pot machines.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water according to hotel standards.
• Operate burnishing machine to ensure proper finish on silverware and de-tarnish as needed.
• Assist cooks by keeping kettles, skillets, pots and pans clean and accessible.

NoOverviewAssist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in the cleaning and organizing of the Food and Beverage Outlets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly.
