Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a hotel room attendant for Hotel Per La in downtown Los Angeles. Maintain clean, safe guest rooms and common areas, restock supplies, and assist guests and team members as needed.

Physically capable of lifting and moving supplies, you will work with the team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits provided by HEI.

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and use cleaning agents.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip beds and change bed linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures and shelves; wipe ledges.
• Vacuum rooms; empty trash; replenish amenities and supplies.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
