Job summary

The River Club of Jacksonville is seeking motivated individuals to join its culinary team as a Stewarding staff member. This role supports the Food & Beverage operation, focusing on cleanliness, organization, and teamwork to ensure smooth service and event execution.

Scheduled varied hours include weekends and holidays. The club offers comprehensive benefits and a dynamic, premier dining environment with a 360-degree view of downtown Jacksonville and the St. Johns River.

Responsibilities

• Set up dish-station for safe operation and report issues
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of kitchen, dishware, and equipment
• Set up banquet tables, chairs and event equipment
• Assist culinary leadership and execute tasks to maintain top-quality kitchen operations

Job Requirements

• Take responsibility for cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas
• Participate in event set up and breakdown
• Be willing to work in a team atmosphere
• Experience preferred, but will train.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and work in a professional kitchen environment

Job Description To Include But Not Limited To

• Set up dish-station for safe and proper operation, informing supervisor of any problems.
• Perform the cleaning and sanitation duties of kitchen and dining room dish and cookware
• Perform the cleaning and sanitation duties of food & beverage and kitchen equipment
• Set up banquet tables, chairs and event equipment
• Perform tasks as requested by culinary leadership team.
• Perform other jobs that will assist in an efficient and top quality running kitchen as assigned by the Executive Chef or F&B Director.
