Job summary

The Stella Hotel in Bryan, TX is seeking a part-time Steward/Dishwasher. The role focuses on cleaning and handling utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware while maintaining sanitation across kitchen areas.

You will support the daily operations of a boutique hotel known for guest-first service. You should be reliable, flexible, and a positive team member who enjoys working in a hospitality environment and interacting with guests and staff.

Requirements

Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in the hotel.

Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens have the requisite amounts of the above to properly open their shifts and that there are sufficient racks in which to place dirty dishes, silver, pots and pans.

Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables and floors.

Food prep and maintenance of food storage areas as directed by chefs.
