Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a full-time EO Sterilizer Operator in San Jose, CA to perform programming, loading and unloading of EO sterilizers and to execute PQ validation steps. You will handle testing of biological indicators, process orders, maintain records, and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards while interfacing with customers.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (AA in biology a plus), strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of FDA/ISO

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma; AA in biology or related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with QA/QC, document control, lab procedures.
• Knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations pertaining to controlled documents.

Responsibilities

• Operates EO Sterilizers: programming, loading and unloading per protocols.
• Completes work orders based on customer requests.
• Tests biological indicators and records results.
• Communicates with customers effectively.
• Manages inventory and reorders from suppliers; handles shipping documents.
• Maintains equipment and facility per daily cleaning procedures.
• Maintains documentation files and records.
• Interprets protocols and executes PQ portion of product validation.

Job Description

• The person in this position performs operator functions in the programming, loading & unloading of EO Sterilizers.
• Completes work orders based on customer order requests/protocols.
• Performs testing of biological indicators and records results.
• A high level of communication skills when interfacing with customers.
• Performs inventory and reordering from suppliers. Receives both supplier and customer products. Creates shipping documents when required.
• Maintains equipment and facility following daily cleaning procedures.
• Maintains documentation files and records.
• Interprets protocols and executes PQ portion of a product validation process.
• Must be current with all regulations pertaining to EO sterilization.
• Comply with Quality Management (QMS) procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or any related technical field. (AA degree in biology or related field is a plus).
• Knowledge of QA/QC, document control, laboratory procedures, experimental and/or medical, and engineering/manufacturing design and development.
• Previous experience at a healthcare company in central supply preferred.

Skills Required:

• High degree of organization skills, clear and precise written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO regulations pertaining to controlled documents.
• Administrative experience and/or background is a plus.
