Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time operator to perform EO sterilizer loading and unloading, complete work orders and test biological indicators. You will maintain documentation and ensure compliance with QMS and FDA/ISO regulations.

This role requires a high school diploma (AA in biology preferred), strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with controlled documents.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of QA/QC, documentation control, lab procedures and manufacturing concepts.
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO regulations pertaining to controlled documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate EO sterilizers (loading & unloading) and perform operator functions.
• Complete work orders based on customer requests and protocols.
• Test biological indicators and record results; ensure data accuracy.
• Interface with customers with clear, effective communication.
• Maintain inventory and handle supplier/customer deliveries and shipping docs.

Job Description

• The person in this position performs operator functions in the programming, loading & unloading of EO Sterilizers.
• Completes work orders based on customer order requests/protocols.
• Performs testing of biological indicators and records results.
• A high level of communication skills when interfacing with customers.
• Performs inventory and reordering from suppliers. Receives both supplier and customer products. Creates shipping documents when required.
• Maintains equipment and facility following daily cleaning procedures.
• Maintains documentation files and records.
• Interprets protocols and executes PQ portion of a product validation process.
• Must be current with all regulations pertaining to EO sterilization.
• Comply with Quality Management (QMS) procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or any related technical field. (AA degree in biology or related field is a plus).
• Knowledge of QA/QC, document control, laboratory procedures, experimental and/or medical, and engineering/manufacturing design and development.
• Previous experience at a healthcare company in central supply preferred.
• Skills Required:
• High degree of organization skills, clear and precise written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO regulations pertaining to controlled documents.
• Administrative experience and/or background is a plus.
